6-Aza-spiro[2.5]octane-1,6-dicarboxylic acid 6-tert-butyl ester - Risk and Safety
6-Aza-spiro[2.5]octane-1,6-dicarboxylic acid 6-tert-butyl ester - Introduction
1 '-(BENZYLOXYCARBONYL)SPIRO(INDOLINE-3,4'-PIPERIDINE), also known as CBI Ester, is an organic compound. The following is a description of its nature, use, preparation and safety information:
Nature:
-Appearance: CBI Ester is a white to light yellow solid or powder.
-Solubility: It is soluble in common organic solvents, such as methanol, ethanol, dimethylformamide and N,N-dimethylacetamide.
-Melting point: The melting point of CBI esters is usually between 130°C and 135°C.
-Chemical reaction: CBI ester can be hydrolyzed into corresponding carboxylic acid and alcohol under certain conditions.
Use:
- CBI ester can be used as a synthetic intermediate of organic compounds and plays an important role in the synthesis of drugs, pesticides and chemical reagents.
-It can also be used as a photosensitive etching resist to protect and etch materials in the manufacture of microelectronic devices.
Method:
The preparation of-CBI esters is usually carried out by chemical synthesis methods. A common method of preparation is the heated reaction of indole and piperidine to produce Spiro [indoline-3, 4 '-piperidine]. The Spiro [indoline-3, 4 '-piperidine] is then reacted with a carboxylic acid benzyl ester to form the CBI ester.
Safety Information:
- CBI Ester is a chemical and should be handled in accordance with safe operating procedures. It has a certain irritation, avoid contact with the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Avoid inhaling gases, vapors, fumes and dust during operation and ensure good ventilation conditions. When using CBI esters, you must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as anti-glasses and chemical protective gloves.
-due to the specific use of each chemical, it is recommended to carefully read the Safety Data Sheet (Safety Data Sheet,SDS) or consult the relevant Safety experts before using CBI esters.
